Gisela Hochuli (*1969) zeigt seit 2002 ihre Solo-Performances an Performance Festivals in Asien, Südamerika, Nordafrika und Europa. Auch arbeitet sie in Kollaborationen mit diversen (inter-)nationalen KünstlerInnen, organisiert und kuratiert Performance-Anlässe. Sie gewann den Performancepreis Schweiz 2014. Gisela Hochuli arbeitet mit dem eigenen Körper, wenigen Objekten und reduzierten Handlungen. Ihr Interesse gilt Transformationen, wie in „Being a Being II“, einer ihrer neusten Arbeiten. Am Body and Freedom Festival zeigt sie dieses kurze intensive Stück in der Florastrasse, am Fr 21.8. um 14h, 16h, 18h, am Sa 22.8. um 12h und 15h.
Depuis 2002, Gisela Hochuli (*1969) présente ses performances en solo lors de festivals en Asie, Amérique du Sud, Amérique du Nord et en Europe. En collaboration avec divers artistes nationaux et internationaux, elle organise des performances et travaille comme directrice artistique. Elle a gagné le Prix de la Performance suisse en 2014. Gisela Hochuli travaille volontiers avec ce qui est présent et se sert de son propre corps. Elle a un grand intérêt pour la métamorphose comme dans „Being a Being II“, un de ces travaux récents. Au Festival Body and Freedom, elle présente une courte et intense pièce à la Rue de la Flore, le vendredi 21 août à 14h, 16h, 18h, et samedi 22 août à 12h et 15h.
Gisela Hochuli (*1969) has given solo performances in performance festivals in Asia, South America, North America, North Africa and Europe since 2002. She also works in collaboration with Swiss and International artists, and organises and curates performance art events. She is winner of the Performance Prize Switzerland 2014. Working in a minimal artistic way with her body and few selected objects, her interest lies in the transformational as in „Being a Being II“., one of her newest artworks. In Body and Freedom Festival she will perform this intense piece in Florastreet on Fri.21.8. at 14h 16h,and 18h and on Sat 22.8. at 12 and 15h.
