Matthias Mollner (*1984) ist visueller Künstler, lebt und arbeitet in Wien. In seinen skulptural-performativen Werken beschäftigt er sich mit Sprachlosigkeit und inneren Widerständen. Dabei stemmt er sich mit Witz gegen destruktiv-menschliche Systeme und entwickelt in der Beziehung von Mensch-Tier-Natur eine erweiterte Form der Kommunikation. Er arbeitet mit Schweinen und Regenwürmern und realisiert Ausstellungen, Performances und Projekte im öffentlichen Raum. Claudia Wagner (*1975) ist Tanzdozentin, Choreographin und Soziologin. Sie realisiert sitespecific Performances an Festivals in Wien, Salzburg und Zürich, und inszenierte mit Studierenden der HKB zuletzt die Bespielung einer ehemaligen Holzfabrik im Jura. Ihre Arbeiten verbinden Tanz, Text, Musik und eine starke körperliche Bildsprache. Am Body and Freedom Festival untersucht das Duo Mollner/Wagner den menschlichen Körper als Teil der Natur, mit all seiner Verletzlichkeit und unbändigen Kraft. In der Performance „Fiffi“ (Fundamental Impotence Follows Fucking Ignorants) wird der Körper wie ein Objekt hinten nach gezerrt, ein lästiges Anhängsel, das scheinbar nur folgen und funktionieren muss.
Matthias Mollner (*1984) is a visual artist living and working in Vienna. His sculptural-performative works deal with voicelessness and inner resistance. Witty he stems against destructive human systems and develops enhanced communication between man, animal and nature. He works with pigs and earthworms and does exhibitions, performances and projects in public space. Claudia Wagner (*1975) is professor for dance, choreographer and sociologist, based in Biel and Vienna. She carried out various sitespecific performances on festivals in Vienna, Salzburg and Zürich. Together with her students of the HKB she lately staged performances in a former factory in the Jura. Her works merge dance, text and music as well as strong physical imagery. For the Body and Freedom Festival the duo Mollner/Wagner examines the human body as part of nature, with all his vulnerability and unruly strengh. In their performance „Fiffi“ (Fundamental Impotence Follows Fucking Ignorants) the body is being pulled like an inconvenient object, an appendix which apparently is obliged to follow and function properly.
